Teaching

Jamie has over 20 years’ teaching experience, working with students of all ages and levels.  He has worked in schools, academies and universities both in the UK and internationally.

He was a mentor on ABRSM’s ‘Teaching Music Effectively’ course which was run in Malaysia for the first time in 2011, providing online and face-to-face support for instrumental teachers.  He has also presented seminars and workshops for ABRSM on many occasions.

He has successfully prepared students for ABRSM and TCL Grade and Diploma examinations, University and Conservatoire auditions, and national and international competitions.

He currently teaches from home in Horseheath using a Steinway Model A Grand Piano, and has vacancies for Intermediate and Advanced level Students.
